Yes, after having spiritual experiences that are irrational in nature, I encourage folks to be mindful of who they share their journey with. It can be a sensitive time and the last thing you want to do is put yourself in a position to be misunderstood.
Ah yes, I've had my fair ahare of misunderstandings. At this point I don't worry about other's opinions of me much. But I have toned down my public shares substantially

But the transformation/chrysalis was not apparent until I read your words--only the strange thinning, time strangeness, falling away, of all that was familiar. "But we see these things from the wrong direction: A heap of stones instead of the face of the Sphinx." (Tomas Tranströmer.)

Truly, modern societies often lack mechanisms that enable this transformative spiritual work, which leads people to seek material cures for spiritual maladies. Creates so much suffering.
